THE TUMWATER CRAFT DISTRICT

FIRST BUILDING IS OPEN!

(CONSTRUCTION IS ONGOING, NEW AERIALS COMING SOON!)

The Craft District was born out of a community vision and passion for a handcrafted experience with deep roots in Tumwater’s brewing history. Here you will find an experience-oriented community where friends and families gather to interact with craft producers, educators, retailers, and service providers collaborating to provide the best products, services, and knowledge the region has to offer.

Construction is complete on the South Puget Sound Community College and Heritage Distilling Company Building!  We are adjusting the next building and our open spaces, for better function in the new reality of COVID, and will be breaking ground soon. Check our instagram feed for recent photos!

What's it all about?

the craft district defined

If you’re looking for something unique, something with character, or just something new, then what your looking for is probably is Craft.

This one-of-a-kind District in Tumwater was created by the community’s demand for a handcrafted destination. With local makers at the forefront, the District’s masterplan has evolved into a collaboration amongst local businesses to create a unique experience that blends education with industry. The District is built around South Puget Sound Community College’s Craft Brewing and Distilling Program. The collaboration between SPSCC, Heritage Distilling Company, and Ninkasi Brewing has allowed for a unique collaboration amongst partners at the District. Heritage Distilling Company’s new production, tasting room, cask club, and event space facility will be housed under the same roof as SPSCC’s new educational facility.

The market building will feature multiple vendors surrounding a livable common space, including Ninkasi Brewing, Left Bank Pastry & Coffee shop, three high-quality restaurants, retail shops, produce vendors, and personal services.

There will also be buildings for a dedicated restaurant, professional office spaces, and a small business startup space.

Each of the buildings will surround a 1,000 person Amphitheater, with views of the Deschutes River Valley. The Tumwater Craft District’s unique location will provide access to the Deschutes Valley Trail, which will connect Pioneer Park directly with downtown!

There are limited spaces available in existing and future buildings. If you are interested in being a part of this handcrafted escape, please contact us today!
